Ah, dang. Stayed the same.
I just can't help but think of my looooong hard workouts EVERY day though and be bummed. I JUST WANT TO GET RID OF THIS JUNK IN MY TRUNK!!!!!!!!!!
There's just no way that my pasta dish at Carino's and TCBY frozen yogurt with Resees (yum!) I had with friends last night sabotaged all my efforts. Yesterday, I knew that I would be going out to dinner and then to ice cream that evening, so I was very strict with what I ate all day. Oatmeal and toast in the morning - an apple at Jack's t-ball game - cottage cheese with yogurt when I got home, and that's IT! So, I felt like I deserved some delicious food and a yummy dessert afterward. I did plan on eating only half, and bringing the rest home to the kids, but that didn't happen.
Regardless, I really thought I had an awesome week.
All the scientific CRAP of why my weight may not be coming off practically goes in one ear and out the other. I can't help it. To me, pardon me, but my butt should be smaller by now!!! I do appreciate ALL of your encouragement and advice - more than I can say. But I just can't help but be bummed anyway.

Beth is trying to convince me that it's just muscle that I am gaining.
So, Chip talked me into flexing for the camera, and then convinced me to post it.
So here it is...

OH MY GOSH!! It's definitely muscle gain girl! You look great, keep it up and don't let it get you down.
Just keep it up, Tracy. You're well on your way.
You must have one of the most relaxed, slowest metabolisms going. You are definitely a lot healthier though, which is a lot to say! Just keep on keeping on and it will come off, one pound at a time. All you need is patience. 20 weeks, 20 pounds. Patience. All together now. MMMMMMMMMMMMM.

You can!

Tracy dearest,
I hate to admit this in a semi public forum like this, but you now weigh almost 10 pounds less than I do. You have definately inspired me to get rid of some of the junk in my trunk! Hang in there! You go girl!

You look great. Try not to get so down on yourself. The closer you get to your goal weight, the slower the weight is going melt away so you have to be patient and just hang in there. Weight Watchers says healthy weight loss should not exceed 1-2 pounds a week so you're doing good.
I have to tell you, the other night when we stopped by I was noticing your arms. They look great! Getting nice and toned! I also have to apologize about Saturday night...I was not a very good example for you at TCBY, ordering my "suicide" shiver!:) Next time we go out we'll do better. :) We'll still have a treat... just in a little moderation. :) A suggestion on working out... don't let your body get used to the same workout everyday. Change it up a bit on your cardio. Speed intervals on the treadmill or outside are awesome. Keep up the good work!!! If you're getting bored with your music come by and we'll make you a mix!

Holy crap Tracy! You have got some Guns on you! Hey, did you know that your waist measurement is two inches smaller than mine? You are definitely slimming down. Don't look at the numbers, look at the inches. You are doing it baby!!
I totally understand that you need to weigh yourself for the post update and all but I just wish you wouldn't stress on the number so much! My scale broke about three months ago and I have never been happier! I feel good because I know I am having "good weeks" and I keep going because that feel-good feeling is addicting! I know it's hard, but concentrate on how you feel and not how the scale tells you to feel.
I love you! Keep it up! I can really see a difference from week one.
